As Founder of Informa Financial & Insurance Services, Cliff has over 25 years experience in the financial services industry. He has vast experience in providing life & disability insurance, employee benefits, critical illness insurance, group retirement and executive insurance solutions. Over that time, he has learned to combine his creative abilities with his technical knowledge, bringing forth excellent business solutions for both individual and group needs.

Dane Christianson
After having worked alongside a Financial Planner, Dane joined the Informa team in 2016, and became partner in 2023. Dane’s educational background includes a diploma from the British Columbia Institute of Technology in Financial Planning as well as a degree from UBC in Urban Studies with a minor in Environmental Sustainability.
Our History
Informa Financial was founded by Cliff Pipke with the mission of helping families and small business owners meet their insurance needs. As the firm’s client base grew, Informa partnered with the Chambers Plan—a not-for-profit insurance carrier tailored to small and medium-sized businesses. This relationship proved pivotal, as the Chambers Plan has become Canada’s largest employee benefits provider, insuring over 32,000 businesses nationwide. For decades, Informa has helped companies find stability in their benefits through this unique pooled model, making them a trusted partner for organizations, including members of the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade.
Today, Informa has grown into a specialized brokerage with expertise in employee and executive benefits, group retirement, life insurance, and living benefits. The firm has embraced innovation through strategic partnerships with Payworks payroll and Collage HR, integrating technology to streamline payroll, HR, and benefits management for clients. In 2023, Cliff welcomed Dane Christianson as partner, expanding the firm’s reach into the Vancouver tech and startup ecosystem. This focus was reinforced by Informa’s corporate partnership with Launch Academy, one of Canada’s premier incubators and accelerators.
